Well got my test back... exceeded my own expectations. Doing more proofs, kind of getting the hang of it still don't know where the main body just appears from MORE MATH HOCUS POCUS.
I have nothing to write about D:
lul time to enjoy reading week. Bai.

WHERS MY TITLE!!??
Well, that test wasn't so bad. Messed up a few list comprehensions, didn't even use the cheat sheet D: but everything went well.
Proofs are coming along nicely, the formatting is easy to follow. I guess coming up with the ACTUAL proof is going to be hard because i'm sitting in class wondering where did that 2k +1 come from?
To Do: Learn some mathematical hocus pocus for this unit.
At the beginning of the course I was complaining "Why is this a logic course if it doesn't make sense?". After some careful reconsideration and factoring in all the concepts we have learned such as vacous truth, tautology and contradictions; this course still does not compute. Maybe I need to get a hammer and hammer in the CSC165 nail farther down into my brain.
Everything is slowly sinking in, I just hope we have enough time to grasp the concept of proofs before the next test/assignment.

Not Studying => Failure
Already losing it. I've started talking in symbols, one strategy to get the concept of writing and expressing in symbols through to my brain. Saw the correct answers for A1...not feeling so confident anymore about our group mark. Everything is so confusing and detailed and for a non-native English speaker, extremely hard to understand. I'm having trouble distinguishing the line between "and" statements and implications, when converting a statement from English to symbols they both look correct to me.
Mixed quantifiers are easier to understand and proofs don't seem as confusing as I thought they would be. Other than that class is going pretty smooth, even figured out the recursive folding pattern in-class.
