I lied....

Turns out I have to write two more blogs. well this is 1/2.

Haven't started on A3 yet....actually technically yes we did start, but I don't think reading the questions count as starting.

So turns out paradoxes cannot be solved.. which makes sense, because if they were we would've built time machines a long time ago.

Did you know Stephen Hawking threw a party for time travelers? Nobody showed up.

Which means the halting problem is unsolvable < maybe I should put this in proof form for proving (i mean disproving?) the halting problem

Everything is smooth for now, time to actually start on A3.
ONE MORE TIME I SHALL WRITE. ONCE
MORE.

Last week incoming

So I got test 2 back, did everything perfectly/ but got 17/19 because of an error the T.A who marked my test made. Either way I'm too lazy to write up a remark request for 1 extra percent...

Bog O notations just keeps getting better, so far its brilliant; I understand everything.
Interested in next weeks topic though, the idea of attempting to solve seemingly unsolvable algorithms interest me. *starts dreaming : wouldn't it be cool if I solved one of these algorithms? maybe I'll get noticed all around the world!
*snap back to reality
MUST.GET.GOOD.MARKS

Since this is about the most free time I've had in months, I decided to look through other classmates blogs
This one : onesixtyfivest.xanga.com is absolutely HILARIOUS, it's a very interesting blog to read hope everyone reads it, and hopefully mine....but mines a tad boring

I'M SORRY YOU HAVE TO READ THIS ONCE A WEEK(whenever i remember) LALLA

*back to ranting about other people's blogs

A lot of people seem to mention whoshavesthebarber.wordpress.com and I agree with them.
It's a very informative blog with a cool name xD
and after looking at quite a few blogs which only had one or two posts, I suddenly don't feel so bad about not writing one EVERY SINGLE WEEK(yes it's bad i know, i'm ashamed)

Anyways looking forward to solving an impossible problem and getting a nobel prize (does that even happen?)

I WILL WRITE ONE MORE BLOG. ONE. MORE. by Wednesday.

Long Time no see

Prepping for test 2, last two weeks were just hell, pelted by midterms one after the other. This is my last midterm. So far A2 was pretty good, the last proof was pretty hard to get and we didn't have enough time to complete it so not expecting anything good on that. Since then I have gotten better at proofs and hopefully I'll do well on the test tomorrow.

Counting steps and Big O notations.... counting steps is easy enough, possibly because of my programming background, but converting them into formulas is weird; not good at math...not even addition. Learned a new notation last week in the tutorial that big E sum notation, comes in pretty handy when finding worst case for nested loops.

The proofs regarding Big O notations don't seem to be that hard, they all make sense no more mathematical voodoo to worry about, hopefully this last bit of class would be easy because I'm in familiar territory.
